mandatory meeting at work, parte dos
We were treated to two hours of fun-filled trivia last night. My team won because I always rock at Jeopardy, and we won a coffee mug each! And then, we enjoyed a lovely performance involving the checkout experience. Here is a list of all the questions we are supposed to be asking:
1. Did you find everything you were looking for?
2. Are you shopping off the baby registry?
2.5 Are these items all for the same person?/Do you need separate gift receipts?
3. Do you have a rewards card with us?
3.5 Would you like to sign up for one?
* if applicable: Would you like to purchase the buyer protection plan for this item?
4. Will you be putting this on your “R” Us credit card?
4.5 Would you like to sign up for one?
5. Would you like to donate to Toys for Tots?
5.5 How much would you like to donate?
6. Do you need any batteries?
7. May I have your telephone number?
The “perfect” cashier took about five minutes to complete the transaction. This is not realistic.
Lastly, we are supposed to check all boxes, diaper bags, and anything else guests might put stuff into in an attempt to steal because one person walked out with 900 movies and video games last week at our local Toys R Us. Shiiiit.
